At The Independent Nurse, we value your time and ours. By booking an appointment, you reserve a nurse’s time exclusively for your care. Please review the following cancellation policy to ensure clarity and understanding.
How to Cancel an Appointment
If you need to cancel an appointment, please contact us as soon as possible:
Important:
- Cancellations cannot be accepted by text message or any other means.
- Cancellations must adhere to the notice periods outlined below.
Notice Periods for Cancellations
Pre-booked AppointmentAt least 24 hours in advance
Same Day BookingAt least 4 hours in advance
Cancellation Charges
If the required notice period is not met, or the appointment is not attended, the following charges will apply:
Non-attendance of an appointment50% of the fee
Late attendance (after 45 minutes of appointment time)50% of the fee
Cancellation upon arrival – Clinic - 50% of the fee
Cancellation upon arrival – Home Visit- 100% of the fee
How Charges Are Applied
- Charges are applied directly to your account, and an invoice will be sent to you.
- Any future appointments will be cancelled until the outstanding balance is paid in full.
