IV Administration Service

We no longer offer pre-formulated IV vitamin infusions for wellness or aesthetic purposes.

At The Independent Nurse, we believe IV therapy should be delivered as part of a clinical plan overseen by a prescribing medical professional. This is to ensure safety, relevance, and appropriate monitoring based on your overall health needs.

We continue to provide IV administration services when a prescription has already been issued by:

• A UK-registered prescriber, or
   
• A registered doctor overseas, with full documentation
   

Our role is to safely administer IV therapies that have been prescribed for you. We do not source or recommend formulations and we do not accept bookings without a valid prescription and accompanying documentation.

Appointments take place in our regulated Southmead clinic and include:

• A nurse-led consultation to confirm documentation and safety
   
• Pre-administration observations (e.g. blood pressure, pulse, oxygen)
   
• Full monitoring throughout your infusion
   
• Clinical record-keeping and documentation in line with NMC standards
   
• Post-infusion observation and discharge advice

IV Administration Fee: £180 per appointment

• This fee covers up to one hour of nurse-led care
   
• If your infusion takes longer, additional time will be charged at £180/hour
   
• This price reflects: staffing, clinical oversight, regulatory documentation, and clinic resources
   

Please note that even if your infusion lasts less than an hour, the minimum charge of £180 applies due to the level of clinical responsibility and resources required.

• We do not accept walk-ins or same-day bookings
   
• We do not offer advice on formulation or dosage
   
• Prescriptions must be provided in advance of your appointment
   
• We reserve the right to decline administration if safety criteria are not met

We are a CQC-registered service committed to safe, regulated nursing care. We do not operate outside the scope of UK legislation or NMC standards. Our goal is to support individuals accessing prescribed IV therapy with clinical excellence, clear boundaries, and compassionate care.
