You can use this service in a variety of ways;
Vitamin D is a prescription only medicine (POM). We only provide prescription medications for health and well-being purposes. We use our partner provider, VitB12shot, who supply our prescriptions using clinicians who are all registered with CQC and GMC.
As part of your consultation our prescribers will assess your information and suitability to determine whether it is safe to proceed with a vitamin D Injection.
Once suitability has been confirmed one of our registered nurses will administer the vitamin D injection into your deltoid muscle in the upper arm.

Once it has been determined that it is safe for you to have a Vitamin D injection, you can proceed to have a vitamin D injection, however to ensure safety, we can only administer a maximum of 4 injections per year and all oral vitamin D spplements much be stopped to prevent the risk of toxicity.
We inject Vitamin D in the form of Ergocalciferol, which is a manufactured version of Vitamin D, licensed for use in the UK.
